I Tried the Lip Balm BTS Jimin Used in the 2020 MTV VMAs & Here’s What I Think

There’s a reason Jimin is referred to as the “brand king”. The products he used sold out quickly as did the lip balm that he was used to use during the MTV VMAs of 2020 behind-the-scenes shoot. After the ARMYs learned the contents of the lip balm the item was went out of stock everywhere. However, only because Jimin utilized the product, does it truly worth the money? Do you think it’s really worth it? Click here to read my Mentholatum Water Lip Tone Up CC Review and find out where to purchase it.

I’ve been using this lip balm almost every all day for the past year. It’s perfect for people like me who is averse to thick glossy balms. I find it comfortable under a face mask and it doesn’t smudge compared to other brands.PROSNon-tackyNon-greasyContains SPFSheer tintAffordableCONSNot moisturizing enough for truly dry lipsDoesn’t look glossy5PRODUCT RATING

Rohto Mentholatum Water Lip Tone Up Review is much more than the lip balm. It’s an eye-toning lip tint with subtle red tint that corrects the color of lips while providing hydrating treatment. It also contains the SPF20 PA++ to shield your lips from harmful UV light and to prevent rough lips.

Notable Ingredients

It is a blend of jojoba oil, olive oil for moisturizing skin as well as Vitamin E and a Vitamin E derivative that helps help nourish lips. You can find the complete analysis of the ingredients within the Inci Decoder.

ADVICE: I actually use this every day and at night as the last step in my skincare routine , to keep my lips moisturized.

SCENT It has no flavor, scent or scent whatsoever.

Packaging: It is light and compact enough to fit into any pouch. It can also be retracted.

Like many Japanese brands of lip balms I have tried, I expected it to feel heavy sticky, tacky, and greasy however, this Rohto Mentholatum Water Lip Tone Up CC isn’t that in any way. It is light on my lips, yet it gives my lips a moisturizing the appearance of a tint that is natural and similar to Jimin’s. If, however, you’ve got really dry lips that look nearly peeling, this isn’t the lip balm you need. It’s not moisturizing enough to treat that.

Overall, I really enjoy wearing this Rohto Mentholatum Water Lip Tone Up CC all day. It’s perfect for people like me who dislikes gloss balms and also has SPF. I like it underneath a mask and doesn’t leave a smudge when as much as other brands. Additionally, it’s affordable.
